Tickets selling fast for JLT Community Series: Collingwood vs GIANTS
Tickets to the 2018 JLT Community Series are now on sale.
For the fourth consecutive season, AFL and Club members with game access will be entitled to attend JLT Community Series matches free of charge (subject to availability and venue capacity).
The GWS GIANTS kick-off their JLT Community Series with a match against Collingwood at UNSW Canberra Oval on Thursday, March 1 at 7.10pm.

AFL General Manager of Clubs and Broadcasting, Travis Auld officially launched the JLT Community Series alongside Gary Okely, CEO – Public Sector Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT).
“The JLT Community Series highlights the fact that the community is the lifeblood of Australian Football right across Australia,” Mr Auld said.
“To meet AFL standards, many of the community football grounds receive facility upgrades, and that becomes part of the JLT Community Series legacy,” he said.
In December 2016, it was announced that the AFL would partner with JLT, one of the world’s leading specialty-focused providers of insurance related advice, brokerage and associated services for the pre-season competition for three years.
Gary Okely, CEO – Public Sector Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), outlined their involvement.
“No matter who you are or where you are from, JLT’s role is to support and protect the game and its players,” Mr Okley said.
“As an Official Risk Partner of the AFL, we protect, 18 AFL clubs, 96% of community football clubs and players, every Auskick participant and community centre and over 450 Councils and local footy grounds across Australia.
“This year, we are thrilled to continue the JLT tradition of bringing the game to the community, with more games being played in regional and suburban grounds across Australia than ever before,” he said.
The 2018 JLT Community Series will see all 18 teams play two matches across a three-week stretch between Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, March 11 leading into the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
The format of recent seasons has again been followed by bringing the game to the backyard of communities across Australia. The majority of matches will be played at regional or suburban venues that don’t normally host AFL Football during the regular Toyota AFL Premiership season.
All 18 matches in the JLT Community Series will again be exclusively broadcast live by FOX FOOTY. In addition, every match will also be made available live to fans via the AFL Live App thanks to Telstra.
2018 JLT COMMUNITY SERIES PRICES
AFL and Club members with game access have free entry to those JLT Community Series matches in which their club is competing (subject to availability, upgrade or registration fees may be applicable).
Access to JLT Community Series matches is subject to capacity and is not guaranteed. The AFL recommends that members upgrade their membership to a reserved seat or register for a general admission ticket in order to guarantee entry.
Membership upgrades and registrations are subject to availability on a first come, first serve basis and subject to an additional fee. Transaction fees may also apply.
JLT Community Series ticket prices are as follows (ticketing fees and levies are included in the prices below, however additional transaction fees and credit card fees may apply).

JUNIOR POLICY
Children aged 6-14 of age as at January 1, 2018 are eligible to purchase a junior ticket. Children aged 5 and under as at January 1, 2018 are entitled to enter the ground at no charge; however they must not occupy a seat.
Persons aged 15 and over as at January 1, 2018 are classified as an adult, unless they hold valid Concession identification.
Please note:
- Club members are required to upgrade to a ticket that is equivalent to the type of membership that they hold (i.e Adult members can only upgrade to an Adult ticket).
- The AFL is a National Affiliate of the Companion Card program and we agree to provide an admission ticket for the cardholder’s companion at no charge. The Companion Card program is applicable at all AFL Venues.
FAMILY TICKETS
Family tickets for the JLT Community Series are for two adults and up to four juniors under the age of 15 as at January 1, 2018. The following will be available to purchase:
- Family of 4 – 2 adults and 2 juniors
- Family of 5 – 2 adults and 3 juniors
- Family of 6 – 2 adults and 4 juniors
