2017 Mulrooney Medal Award Winners
Beau Walker and Britt Tully were crowned the Mulrooney Medallist and Mary Ann Bainrot Medallist respectively on Monday night at the AFL Canberra Mulrooney Medal Presentation Night.
It was a close finish in the Women’s Best & Fairest Vote Count, with Gungahlin’s Britt Tully pipping Belconnen’s Jodie Hicks at the post with a final round best on ground performance to claim the Mary Ann Bainrot medal with 25 votes.
It was a heart wrenching finish to the Men’s First Grade Best & Fairest, with Joshua Bryce and Beau Walker both finishing the season on 18 votes, however a final round suspension to Bryce made him ineligible to claim the award with Walker named as the winner.
