U11 Mixed – Sat 3 SEP, 10:15am, Reid Oval

Queanbeyan Tigers Yellow v Queanbeyan Tigers Black

The 4th placed Queanbeyan Tigers Black will take on their counterparts the 6th placed Queanbeyan Tigers Yellow for the premiership. In their one and only matchup this season the Queanbeyan Tigers Yellow came out on top by just a 4-point margin in a tight contest.

 

U12 Mixed – Sat 3 SEP, 12:00pm, Reid Oval

Gungahlin Jets Blue v Gungahlin Jets Black

The undefeated and 1st placed Gungahlin Jets Blue will face their peers the 3rd placed Gungahlin Jets Black. Both teams met in Round 3 and Round 12 this season, where the Gungahlin Jets Blue were victors by strong margins in both games.

 

U13 Mixed – Sat 3 SEP, 9:15am, EPC Solar Park

Tuggeranong Valley Red v Tuggeranong Valley Blue

The 1st placed Tuggeranong Valley Red and the 3rd placed Tuggeranong Valley Blue will clash for the second time this season. In their only previous meeting this season the Tuggeranong Valley Red came out winners by just 6 points in a thriller.

 

U14 Mixed – Sat 3 SEP, 11:00am, EPC Solar Park

Eastlake Demons v Marist College

The top two teams throughout the season in the U14 mixed competition, the 1st placed Demons and 2nd placed Marist were destined to face off in this seasons Grand Final. These two teams split their two meetings during the season winning one each, with Marist handing the Demons their only loss in 2022.

 

Junior Boys

U15 Boys – Sat 3 SEP, 1:15pm, EPC Solar Park

Marist College v Weston Creek Wildcats

The 1st placed Marist College side are heading into the Grand Final still undefeated and will come up against a hot 3rd placed Weston Creek Wildcats. The Wildcats are in fine form with two very strong wins in their two finals to claim their place in the Grand Final, although Marist will be confident heading into this weekend after winning both matchups between the two sides by some margin.

 

U17 Boys – Sat 3 SEP, 3:45pm, EPC Solar Park

Belconnen Juniors Teal v Queanbeyan Tigers

The undefeated and 1st placed Belconnen Juniors Teal will clash with the 3rd placed Queanbeyan Tigers in pursuit for the flag. Meeting twice throughout the year Belconnen have shown their dominance with two wins, although the Tigers have brought it to the undefeated side, establishing themselves as contenders in Round 7 when a hot contest went in favour of Belconnen by just 6-points.

 

Junior Girls

U12 Girls – Sun 4 SEP, 9:00am, EPC Solar Park

Belconnen Juniors v Eastlake Demons

The two dominant teams of the competition all season, the 1st placed Eastlake and 2nd placed Belconnen were destined to face off in the Grand Final. Meeting twice during the season, these two sides are responsible for each other’s only loss heading into finals. Another meeting in Finals Round 1 went in favour of Belconnen by 15-points.

 

U14 Girls – Sun 4 SEP, 10:30am, EPC Solar Park

Tuggeranong Valley Red v Eastlake Demons

Sitting top of the ladder at the seasons end, Tuggeranong Valley Red are yet to lose a game this season, although the 2nd placed Eastlake Demons will be ready for the challenge this weekend. Meeting twice throughout the season and once in the finals already, Tuggeranong have flexed their muscle winning all three meetings.

 

U16 Girls – Sun 4 SEP, 12:15pm, EPC Solar Park

Ainslie Tricolours v Belconnen Juniors

Atop of the ladder, the undefeated Ainslie Tricolours are set to face the Belconnen Juniors in big dance. Facing each other a total of four times throughout the year including one in the Finals, Ainslie have won all four meetings, although Belconnen have proved themselves as a genuine premiership threat in some close encounters with the Tricolours.

 

Rising Star Women’s – Sun 4 SEP, 12:20pm, Manuka Oval

Belconnen Juniors v Eastlake Demons Black

The undefeated Belconnen Juniors will face the 3rd placed Eastlake Demons Black in pursuit for the flag on Canberra’s biggest stage, Manuka Oval. Facing each other on three occasions throughout the year, the Demons established themselves as a flag fancy in Round 7 in a close encounter, but Belconnen have shown why they are the top team of the competition winning all three matchups.
