Molonglo Juggernauts v ANU Griffins

1st and 2nd place on the ladder at the end of the season, you could Molonglo and ANU were destined to face off in the final game of the year.
Molonglo are the reigning premiers from the 2020 season and will be looking to go back-to-back with a win this Saturday. Beating Eastlake by two goals in the second round of finals last week saw the Juggernauts secure their place in the Grand Final. Molonglo will be hoping to draw confidence from their previous meeting this season with ANU in round six where they defeated the Griffins by a 9-point margin.
The ANU Griffins secured their ticket to the Grand Final in a thrilling 1-point victory over the Batemans Bay Seahawks last week. Premiers in 2019 and undefeated in 2021 prior to the covid interruption, ANU will look to take back their what they believe is theirs this Saturday.

Murrumbateman Eagles v Yass Roos

Yass and Murrumbateman, the two outer Canberra region teams were head and shoulders the most dominant teams in the Fourth Grade Men’s competition this season. Two games already decided by close to a goal within the season, this game may be the hottest contest of the day.
A big win against the Goulburn Swans last week earned the Yass Roos a place in their second Grand Final in a row. Finishing the season 2nd on the ladder only behind Murrumbateman, the Yass Roos will come into the clash confident as they are the only team to knock off the 1st placed Eagles this year after two victories throughout the season.
After ending the season atop of the ladder Murrumbateman are looking to cap off their strong season with a premiership this Saturday, the Eagles cruised to victory over the Woden Blues by 42 points last week.

ANU Griffins v Googong Hogs

A David v Goliath matchup, ANU and Googong had different paths on the way to reserving their place in the Third Grade Men’s Grand Final, yet none of that matters now as both have a chance of lifting the cup.
A strong win over ADFA last week saw the Griffins make their third Grand Final in a row dating back to 2019. Finishing the season 2nd on the ladder, the ANU Griffins will be confident of making it two in a row, to retain their title as the reigning premiers from their 2020 premiership.
Coming in as underdogs, the Googong Hogs got to where they are the hard way. Finishing the season 5th on the ladder meant they had to play two weeks of finals, rising to the occasion in both games against teams higher on the ladder than them. A win over the 4th placed Woden Blues and 1st placed Batemans Bay Seahawks saw Googong into the Grand Final. The Hogs are looking to complete their triumphant finals series with a win this Saturday.
