The AFL has announced the remaining dates and locations for the 2020 AFL Community Camps which will see the Sydney Swans and GWS GIANTS visit regional communities across New South Wales and the ACT.
In its eighteenth year, the AFL Community Camps provide an opportunity for football fans and participants across Australia to access the game, with Isaac Heeney, Stephen Coniglio and Luke Parker just some of the big name players set to attend across our region.
The Sydney Swans will concentrate their visits around fire affected areas of New South Wales as part of their 2020 AFL Community Camps with visits to the Eurobodalla, Illawarra, Mid North Coast and Hunter Central Coast regions scheduled for Tuesday the 18th and Wednesday the 19th of February.
The GIANTS will also offer their support to fire affected parts of New South Wales as part of their 2020 AFL Community Camps.
Following their Marsh Community Series game against Richmond on Sunday the 8th of March, a number of GIANTS players will be out and about in the community across Southern NSW whilst other players will visit the South Coast and Sapphire Coast.
It will be Canberra’s turn to see the 2019 AFL Grand Finalists when they visit the region on the 3rd and 4th of April, tying in with their Round 3 game against the Western Bulldogs at UNSW Canberra Oval on Friday the 3rd of April.
AFL NSW/ACT, the Sydney Swans and the GIANTS have committed to supporting local footballing communities impacted by bushfires in our region.
