Ben ‘Magic’ Cleaver celebrates 200 AFL Canberra Senior Games
Tuggeranong veteran Ben ‘Magic’ Cleaver is set to play his 200th senior game of football this weekend when the Hawks clash with the Gungahlin Jets at Greenway Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Cleaver will become only the 6th player in Tuggeranong’s history to reach the 200-game milestone, following Ashley Pocock (256), Jay Kickett (239), Jim Rice (233), Ben Funnell (217) and Luke Jess (211).
Debuting for Tuggeranong in 2006, Cleaver has established himself as one of the Club’s most decorated players – a four-time Club Champion (Bob Hughes Medallist) in 2010, 2011, 2017 and 2018, recipient of the Players’ Player award and has represented the ACT.
AFL Canberra congratulate Ben on reaching the milestone and wish him all the best this weekend.
