This weekend will see the last home and away game for the AFL Canberra’s Community and Regional grades for Season 2019. Jacob Gaynor reports…
2019 AFL CANBERRA COMMUNITY – MEN’S FOURTH GRADE
The Woden Blues lead the Men’s Fourth Grade Competition, with only percentage separating them from the ADFA Rams going into the final round of the season.
ADFA face 6thplace Ainslie whilst Woden clash with ANU in a game that could determine the Top 3!
2019 AFL CANBERRA COMMUNITY – MEN’S THIRD GRADE
It’s the ADFA Rams and ANU Griffins who battle it out for first position in the Men’s Third Grade Competition this weekend with only one game separating the two sides!
Third placed Woden host the Griffins in one of the most anticipated games of the year whilst the ladder leaders ADFA host 6thplaced Ainslie.
Could the tricolours upset the premiership favourites?

Can anyone catch Cootamundra?
The undefeated Blues sit atop of the Regional Men’s Competition heading into the last round and the Southern Cats, Belconnen Magpies and Goulburn Swans will look to sound a warning to the Blues this weekend!
Cootamundra travel to Yass to face the last placed Kangaroos while Murrumbateman host Belconnen and the Southern Cats host the Goulburn Swans.
2019 UNSW CANBERRA COMMUNITY – WOMEN’S
The ANU Griffins will finish the 2019 regular season atop of the Community Women’s Competition.
Molonglo and ADFA will fight it out for second position this weekend with the Juggernauts travelling to the South Coast to clash with the Seahawks.
ADFA must beat Ainslie at home if they are any chance of a Top 2 finish!
2019 UNSW CANBERRA REGIONAL – WOMEN’S
The Minor Premiership is up for grabs in the Regional Women’s Competition this weekend!
The Riverina Lions must beat 3rdplaced Belconnen to hold off the Queanbeyan Tigers to claim the Regional Women’s Minor Premiership.
Meanwhile, Queanbeyan clash with the Tuggeranong Hawks at Greenway Oval.
