Tully to lead Youth Girls GIANTS Academy
As part of the GIANTS’ ongoing efforts to expand the reach of their talent identification and player development pathways the Youth Girls GIANTS Academy program has returned to Canberra in 2019.
The Youth Girls GIANTS Academy will offer players from U12, U13 and U14 a unique opportunity to meet new people and develop their footballing ability.
The program will have a specific focus on skill development and talent identification.
The new initiative is to engage female players looking to improve their skills and get quality coaching from the GIANTS Coaching staff with Britt Tully, AFLW GIANTS player named as the head-coach. Tully will be assisted by Amy Dwyer, UNSW Canberra first grade women’s player and James McCormack a former GIANTS Academy member.
The program aims to provide more opportunities to female players, develop additional player pathways, produce a broader base of talent and assist with quality long-term development of young and aspiring footballers.
Players of all ability and experience are welcome to participate in this program, you can register by clicking on the link below
