AFL Canberra General Bye: Ladder Update
Jaike Altieri provides us an update on the current ladders across all Senior, Community and Regional Grades ahead of Round Seven.
AFL Canberra First Grade Men’s
After six rounds of the Men’s First Grade competition it’s Queanbeyan who sit two points clear atop of the ladder ahead of three-peat premiers Ainslie. Belconnen sits in third spot, only by percentage with Eastlake rounding out the top-four with three wins and three losses. The Jets are in fifth position with Tuggeranong rounding out the ladder in sixth position.
It’s looking to be an exciting and tight run to the premiership for 2019 with any of the first four still a chance to win the flag. Queanbeyan have only lost to Belconnen, who in turn drew with Ainslie. Eastlake beat the Magpies in the opening round of the competition, which shows that any team can win on their day. Expect movement from Gungahlin as they tighten their margins and set their sights on the top four.
