SESA AFL Female Athlete Development Program
The South East Sports Academy (SESA) AFL Female Athlete Development Program offered in partnership with AFL NSW/ACT is back up and running for the 2018 season.
The Development Program provides coaching, training, competition and support services to improve athlete development. To be eligible for a scholarship, athletes must:
1. Reside within the South East Region of NSW or the ACT
2.. Be turning 14, 15, 16 years of age in 2018 (athletes born in 2002, 2003, 2004).
Those selected for a scholarship will be required to undergo an an induction process, attend weekly training sessions and participate in academy activities.
Application process
Complete an online nomination form by 5pm on Sunday 11 February 2018. Attend selections trials. Applications may be discussed with:
- Parents/ Guardians
- Nominated referee, coach and school
- AFL NSW/ACT.
Scholarship holders will be required to undergo an induction process, attend weekly training sessions and participate in academy activities.
