UNSW Canberra Open Day 2018

Open Day Saturday 25 August 2018

Gates open at 8.45am, with the first activity to start at 9.15am

Open Day at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) is an ideal opportunity for you to experience first hand this unique, world class training and educational facility. If you are interested in combining a challenging and exciting career in the Australian Defence Force with a degree then you should come along and find out more.

Defence and University staff will be on hand providing careers and course information. ADFA Navy Midshipmen and Army and Air Force Officer Cadets will also be available to talk to you about life at ADFA. They can give you a first hand account of their military and academic studies and experience.

ADFA Midshipmen and Officer Cadets will also navigate the above-pool obstacle course, abseil down the side of a building. You will also be entertained by live music during the day.

Tours led by UNSW Canberra staff will highlight the outstanding academic facilities, and information sessions will tell you everything you need to know about academic life at ADFA.  If you are considering ADFA as one of your tertiary options in 2018 or 2019 you should make every attempt to attend the academic information sessions provided by UNSW or visit the display area in Adams Auditorium. These information sessions will address both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

UNSW Canberra actively welcomes postgraduate applications from non-military applicants. Defence Force Recruiting will also be at the Open Day to answer questions and help you with an application to join the Navy, Army or Air Force.
